Role Details

We are recruiting on behalf of our client’s passenger car dealership in Bahrain; they are seeking to recruit a Service Manager to join their team and the beauty about this role is that they are ideally looking for a Service Reception Manager or Assistant Service Manager who is looking for career progression and their first service management role.

The main areas of focus is to drive workshop efficiencies, increase productivity, and enhance customer service levels within the service department. The successful candidate will have the chance to make a significant impact on both the customer experience and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and smooth running of the workshop.
  • Implement strategies to maximise technician productivity and minimise downtime, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Ensure a premium customer experience by managing service reception operations and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Motivate and guide the service team, ensuring they meet performance targets and maintain high standards of work.
  • Track workshop performance metrics, including service completion times, customer satisfaction, and profitability, and implement improvements as needed.
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure swift, satisfactory resolutions to maintain customer loyalty and service quality.

Ideal Candidate

  • A proven track record as a Service Reception Manager or Assistant Service Manager with a passenger car dealership, fast-fit centre or independent garage with a clear ambition to step up into a Service Manager role.
  • Strong understanding of workshop processes, productivity metrics, and the ability to implement strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering customer service.
  • Capable of managing and motivating a diverse team of service professionals to achieve business goals.
  • Proactive in addressing customer issues and workshop challenges with a solutions-driven mindset.
