Our clients seek a Vehicle Service Administrator for their Automotive Service Centre in Reading. This is the ideal opportunity for those wishing to enter into a customer service role, with a difference!

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service professional, someone who likes to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Along with proven organisational, administrative, customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment, where each team
member has opportunities to enhance their skills through training and Career development.

The Role
Working within a fast paced business priding itself with delivering high levels of customer service and professionalism. The role is varied and you will find no two days are the same!
As Service Administrator, you will play an important part in ensuring high service levels are achieved through clear communication and teamwork with internal departments and customers
Assisting the Advisors in a support function as required, along with assisting customers professionally, on the phone, in person and in writing
Calling customers prior to the booking to ensure attendance, answering queries, noting relevant information and preparing workload for the Advisors
Building a rapport with the customers, ensuring the process runs smoothly
Following – Up after the visit to ensure it went well and addressing an issues highlighted
Highlighting upselling and sales opportunities, along with increasing productivity within the workshop in a manner

Updating systems and completing the necessary records, invoicing

 

The Person
  • Have the ability to work in a fast pacedenvironment
  • Enjoy ensuring Customer Satisfaction and working as part of a team to achieve this
  • Communicate well, by phone, written and face to face communication
  • Organised, pro-active and able to work multitask
  • Ideally have experience as an Automotive, Passenger Car, LCV, HGV Service Advisor, or relevant Customer Service Skills, willing to learn and a “can do” and “pro-active” approach

The Salary
The basic salary is dependent upon the individual skillset, however, ranges from £26,000 to £28,000, with the additional opportunity to enhance your salary with Bonus, Overtime and skills through ongoing manufacturer training and development.
